Surgery Update

Hi!

I’m so sorry for the delayed update. Mom’s surgery went great! The surgeon was able to extract 750 mLs from the right lung before he lined the pleural cavity with talc. He had to make several more incisions than originally planned; hopefully this will not cause her more pain than anticipated. Everything else went according to plan. My sisters, mom, and I are so grateful for all of your prayers, positive energy, and unwavering support. We truly believe it has made all the difference. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We have had many wonderful requests to visit her, but we have to respectfully ask that everyone hold off for now. She really needs the rest and must preserve all of her strength for a speedy recovery. I promise she knows how much each of you care.
