Thanks Neighbors!

Hello everyone-

Mom is feeling the effects of the chemo today – she is pretty tired and has committed herself to a day of rest. She plans to gain as much energy as possible before heading back down to Tucson on Wednesday with Dani.

Tonight the “Because We Love You Cafe” opens for business and we could not be more excited. The Gould family has organized with many of the Royal View neighbors a “menu” of dinners that will be delivered from each of the wonderful families through the course of the week. We are both thrilled and overwhelmed with their generosity.

Thank you to everyone else that has offered/extended prayers, support, love and of course food (my personal favorite!!) during this time. You are all appreciated and play a special role in our lives and in Mom’s recovery.

Lastly, thank you so much for checking the blog and thank you to Nicole for creating it!

Other quick updates for those who are interested –

Danielle finishes with the classroom portion of pharmacy school on Tuesday and begins her rotations shortly after – CONGRATS!!!

Nicole is due in only 5 weeks!!

Thank you to Pat Schneider – Miss Billie has an internship with the Clinton campaign in Des Moines and will modeling at “Bras for the Cause” (a breast cancer fundraiser) in the next few weeks. All exciting opportunities!

I will be back to visit Billie in just two weeks to attend the Garth Brooks concert in Kansas City! Yahoo!!
