Update….

So, we have been on mom’s case to post, but she hasnt felt too well lately and thought you didnt want to hear about it. While she might feel like there is not a lot going on, we think there is….even while undergoing chemotherapy, she does more in a day than most people do in a week…she is hardly boring!
This past chemo treatment (3) was probably her most difficult to recover from so far. She was in bed for almost 10 days. The past couple days had been better but she since developed an infection in the catheter in her chest and was admitted to St. Josephs Hospital this morning. The doctors removed her catheter today and will put in a new catheter later this week. She is also receiving IV anti-biotics to help clear up the infection. We are hoping she will be discharged on either Thursday or Friday. She is in good spirits, but is frustrated to have to spend her last few days before her next chemo treatment in the hospital. In case you are interested, she is on floor 6 in room 28.
