Colleen's Journey

Dear Colleen….Love, Bill

Coastal rock arch with turquoise water.

Dearest Colleen,

It has been said that the character of a person can be measured by the strength of her enemies. Your response to this insidious and powerful disease has been truely awe inspiring. Our friend Amy Johnson said to her husband Gary that “cancer does not know who it picked a fight with” (Amy said it another way, but you get the idea). Your surgery went well, you gave cancer a bloody nose and your doctors tell us that you won the first round of this fight. Keep up the good work, baby! Please remember that when it gets dark from time to time, your family and friends will pull you through.

The girls and I love you and are bursting with pride!

Your best friend,

Bill
