Hair is just an accessory!

Last night was one of the most empowering and difficult of our lives. Our mom’s hair has been falling out rapidly from the chemotherapy and it was time to say goodbye. We decided that instead of the cancer deciding when her hair would go, we would take back control. My sisters and our husbands made it an event with a video camera, hair clippers, and lots of laughter. We all cried and smiled at the same time. We decided that hair is just an accessory. Our mom looks even more gorgeous without her hair and is ready to wear her battle wound proudly…she is the strongest woman I know.
