Thank You…Again

So, I spent tonight reading the blog….re-living the past 2 years, trying to gear up for the next round. Please see mom’s post below this one to get the details and a little insight into her perspective. She is an amazing woman and is ready for the fight. We are ready for the fight. She is our SUPERWOMAN and if she can do it once, she can do it twice! I read all the comments and am overwhelmed by the unwavering love and support you have shown my mom and our family ~ especially since September 16, 2007. Hard to believe it was 2 years ago…this week. Its tough to think about all of us going through this process again, but I know we can do it because when we are weak, we find so much strength through all of you. Your comments are so wonderful to read and we appreciate all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers. Thank you for blessing our lives. God has been good to us all.

Mom is in Napa right now visiting her dear friend, Judy. She will be back on Sunday. She is having a fantastic time and its great for her to be able to get her mind off things for a bit.

We are hopeful she will be able to participate in the clinical trial that Dr. Chambers recommended….we just have to get her blood pressure down in order for her to be a candidate. The clinical trial is appealing because she will not lose her hair and will not experience any more nueropathy – which are HUGE benefits! We are not sure when she will start treatment ~ it could be in the next couple weeks, or even longer. We are in a holding pattern until Dr. Chambers lets us know what the game plan is. Regardless, we plan on updating the blog as we get more information.
