World’s Coolest Mom

There is just no denying it, we have the greatest Mom in the world! With all of the stress, axiety and anticipation that our family has felt for the last two months, it has been refreshing to have amazing things to look forward to.

For me and Billie, our excitement for the Garth Brooks concert was one of those events which kept huge smiles on our faces during this time. Our extremely generous Mom flew me to Des Moines to drive Billie down to Kansas City Thursday for the concert. The show was INCREDIBLE and our seats could hardly have been better!!!! Trisha Yearwood opened up with a few of her greatest hits and Garth took the stage shortly thereafter. We danced and sang until our voices went hoarse and were sad when the 7-song encore ended and Garth left the stage.

I just thought we should share some of the video with all of you wonderful, loyal blog visitors and also say a very heartfelt THANK YOU to a special woman we are all blessed to know and love.

Thank you again Mom. Billie and I missed you last night but we can’t wait until next time when you are right there with us enjoying the show! We love you!

P.S. The arrival of the first Grandchild is the next event which has our family on pins and needles and we are all overwhelmed with excitement!!!! Expect to see many pics of GG (Colleen’s given Grandmother name) and baby in the next few weeks!
