YAY! Yee-Ha! Yahoo!

Hi all!

Mom went to St. Joe’s yesterday to get a CT Scan as requested by Dr. Chambers. While we were felt really good about it beforehand, we were extremely relieved to get absolute confirmation that she is CRYSTAL CLEAR!!!!

YEEE – HAAAAA!!!!

We are so THRILLED!!! Mom is feeling so good lately. She is looking forward to making a trek to Tucson with little Billie on Wednesday knowing that there will be NO chemo involved! 🙂

In other news, I’d like to give a little public applause to Dani who is now a full-fledged pharmacist! We are so proud.

Lastly, I just wanted say that Thanksgiving is a holiday which often comes and goes without much thought as to the many ways in which we are truly blessed. While I have the court, I want to take a moment and acknowledge how thankful I am for my wonderful family. Most specifically this Thanksgiving, I am thankful that Mom gets another chance to truly live her life to the fullest. Not everyone who receives such a diagnosis gets this opportunity and we are absolutely cherishing every day. More generally, I couldn’t be luckier and more thankful to have such infinitely loving, caring, understanding, and accepting parents. My sisters, Nicole, Danielle, and Billie, truly are my best friends and I could not imagine functioning without them to laugh and cry with. My niece, Chloe, is the most precious gift I believe our family has ever received. Billy’s the greatest brother-in-law we could hope for. Last and certainly not least, I am so very thankful for my extraordinarily wonderful husband, Pete. I love you all.
